VP of Supply Chain

My in depth experience with vendor management and inventory analysis has enabled me to contribute to the profitability of major Chicagoland distribution organizations.

With Schwarz, I’ve been able to reduce the overall inventory investment by focusing on excess and aged inventory reduction while implementing new strategies to prevent obsolescence.

While at KRP & Associates, I honed my business consulting skills returning small retail businesses to profitability by implementing standard inventory management techniques.

At Thermos, working with Sales, I was able to successfully grow the business through improved forecasting and production planning. My competence as a line manager has been tested both locally and remotely.

Although I was with W.W. Grainger for just a year, I streamlined the process by which forecasts were introduced to our enterprise resource systems. I also developed a forecast review tool that enabled buyers to track the performance of new item which lead to the prevention of dead inventory and overall inventory reduction.

I was with Anixter for nearly a decade handling several different assignments. Most notably, I literally wrote the book on reverse logistics. The results of my team’s efforts translated into millions of dollars of cost savings and millions more in cost avoidance.

In Sales, working for the Williams Hand Tool company, I achieved the number one ranking my rookie year. Before that I opened and managed their Chicagoland distribution center.

I have a track record for identifying opportunities to lower costs by improving efficiencies, thus improving customer responsiveness, profitability and return on investment. I am APICS certified and fluent in Microsoft office products.

Please contact me should you see that my qualifications fit an opportunity within your organization. I will make myself available to discuss my career in detail or supply additional information.

Thank you for your consideration, I look forward to hearing from you.
