Project Manager / Superintendent

McSourcer Recruiting and Staffing

Good day to you, I am writing this cover letter as an extension of my resume’. Over the past 25 years I have been working mostly construction management with a few side things here and there to keep busy during lulls. These side things include managing a bar in the evenings while I was with WBC Construction, selling life insurance and annuities and setting up small business’s on 401 k programs while I was with Emerald City Construction. I have not included these experiences as I have always had my mainstay in construction, always gone back to what I do best and where I make the most money. While I was with WBC shell construction, Managing large Construction Projects first on the East Coast of Florida working in the residential areas of construction and then moving out to the West Coast of Florida to work more on the commercial side of things and large concrete projects I gained a lot of practical experience in OSHA and safety training as well as Bridge building, Hambros systems, Steel, block and stick framing. I have performed work for Lennar Homes, WCI Communities, D.R.Horton (permitting to close)as well as a few others in the building arena of Southern Florida. I went back and forth a little to a couple of other local builders in the area while WBC was in it’s transition stage. (They were sold to BMHC and then later to Select Build) I am looking to get on with a company who’s track record and stability has been able to maintain them in the rocky economics of new construction and remodeling. I look forward to speaking with you and joining a successful company. My safety records, OSHA training as well as my Production records and management skills speak for themselves. I am available for a range of projects and negotiating terms now for Fall and Spring projects. Sincerely, William Starr

Very enthusiastic. Perhaps too colloquial. Defintely energetic. Proofread.
