My program / project management experience is primarily with Fortune 500 companies and includes financial services (brokerage, asset management, trust, mortgage and banking), telecommunications, marketing, building materials and product service development with a primary focus on technology solutions. I am just completing a consulting assignment as the PMO for a Building Materials merger acquisition \ systems integration. My direct responsibilities were development of the Project Management Office, SDLC deliverables / methodology / best practices, project plans, resource allocation, business process gap analysis, technical specifications / reviews, testing coordination and technology integrations critical to the company merger.
I have more than 25+ years consulting experience with 14+ years as a Program / Project Manager / PMO with various technologies (RDBMS, mainframe, client-server and Web projects) within multiple industries. I have managed projects from development teams (5-10 staff) to global endeavors (200 + staff / contractors). The majority of my experience is with large, complex projects and full life cycle development – concept to implementation – and includes internal governance, business cases, analysis, budgets / financials, project plans, requirements, specifications, issue management / resolution, coding / testing / training / implementation, deployment and post-implementation evaluations. I have excellent leadership and communication skills (verbal / written) and thrive in a fast-paced multi-tasking environment. Although I have functioned at the most senior levels of project management, my commitment has always been as a ‘hands on’ manager within the project structure. I have a proven track record for on time and within budget delivery of required solutions. I am also currently studying to complete my PMI certification.
