VP of Manufacturing

To Whom It May Concern:

Due to the sale of my current company I am proactively seeking other long term career opportunities. I am a sixteen year manufacturing professional with proven leadership skills, data driven with deliverable results in safety, quality, cost reductions, P&L and team building.

Currently I am the Director of Manufacturing for Unified Brands reporting to the VP of Manufacturing & Engineering. I have full P&L responsibility including, forecasting, short and long term business planning, Safety, Quality, Engineering, Customer Service, Human Resources, Supply Chain and Manufacturing. I am also responsible for capital projects and new product development and introduction to the market through collaborative efforts with sales, marketing and product development.

I have had the best of both worlds in the automotive industry working for Johnson Controls an American company that is rich in systems, Six Sigma and lean manufacturing. Asahi Glass Company, a Japanese company, where my assignments required creating and implementing Safety, Quality, Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Maintenance systems using lean concepts, some of which have been rolled out to all AGC plants in North America. I was responsible for one start up plant and then I was promoted to turn around a 6 year losing plant which my team did in 17 months.

The past 16 years of my career have shown progressive growth and responsibility, heavy continuous improvement using lean principles with proven results.

I look forward to further discussing this opportunity.
