In reviewing the General Summary, specifications and requirements for the position Management for your Company, I have the education, experience and attitude to satisfy this Job Scope. My qualifications and training that I have acquired over the past 27-year period in the logistical arena and Maquila Industry will contribute to your Company’s continue growth and expansion.

I have extensive Intermodal, LTL, FTL, Specialize Equipment (Over-size/Over-weight), Expedited, Air and Ocean experience and have worked with numerous Steamship Lines, Brokers, Freight Forwarder’s and Manufacturer’s in the development of lanes and routes throughout the U.S.
I am well verse in the Automotive Industry to include, Supply Management, Procurement (Purchasing), Quality Control, Distribution, Materials/Inventory Control, APICS, CPIM, U.S./Mexican Customs (Import/Export) and Production. I have a good working relationship with Brokers, NVOCC’s, Freight Forwarders and IMCs, and their respective services and techniques.

I have the ability to read and interpret documents such as service package specifications, procedural memos, analytical reports and general correspondence. My communication skills, both written and verbal, are well honed to communicate effectively with customers both internal and external. I can draft and develop presentations/strategies and speak effectively before groups of customers and company employees. I am well verse in Spanish to include reading, writing and speaking.

One of my key attributes is the ability to make difficult decisions with little or no supervision. I have the insight to interpret trends and market activity, and translate that information into sound business decisions for the company. This would also include solutions to practical problems and in dealing with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. I can interpret a variety of information and instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.

I have a good working knowledge of MRP, CPIM, APICS, U.S./Mexican Customs (CFR 19), DOT R&R (CFR 49), CSA, ASME, KanBan, ISO9000/9002, Kaizen, Supplier Quality Assurance, IQN, EPA R&R, EPA Standards, Purchasing/Procurement, Compliance Procedures Materials & Inventory Control Disciplines, AS200/AS400 systems, Production Control and Bar-Coding systems to include general business methods, office procedures, computer system concepts, office automation and analysis and documentation techniques.

My education is center in Accounting and Finance terminology and methods. I enjoy working under pressure, but I prefer to work “Smart” rather than “Hard” in order to meet deadlines, and be accurate. Another key element to my success over the years is my strong interpersonal skills, the ability to motivate employees and develop subordinates, and the ability to delegate.

I am prepared to travel extensively throughout the U.S in order initiate logistical strategies for suppliers to meet and/or exceed our on time delivery requirements. I am well adapted to travel internationally and all the environmental issues, Customs, waiting time and traffic congestions. It is understood to be part of our daily regimen.
