Responsibilities have included management of personnel, accounting, contracts, scheduling and organizing meetings, making travel arrangements at the best possible price, and managing departmental activities for other staff members. I also bring to your company reliable administrative support; proficient in MS Office; Typing 97+ wpm with zero errors. I have an extremely quick aptitude for learning new software applications. I am organized and have compiled marketing materials, helping in the formatting and final assembly of proposals, writing non-technical proposals, as well as writing computer software user’s guides and employee job procedures. Other functions have included the scheduling of organized complex activities such as meetings, travel, and department activities. I have participated with CEO’s and CFO’s in the management of schedules and trade shows. I have managed H.R. for Mortgage Banking Branch Offices nationwide; completed purchase requisitions, payment requests, processed expense reimbursements and managed payroll reporting. I am a gifted communicator with the ability to produce clear, cohesive written and verbal information and direction; excellent organizational and people skills with a keen ability to handle graciously the most difficult situations.
Other attributes include a facility for rapid problem analysis. I am a creative individual with a pleasant disposition. If you are looking for someone who is very organized, experienced in records maintenance, and preparing special or recurring reports with little supervision, then again, I say, you need me You will find that I am versatile and able to perform other duties as assigned. I have an extremely good understanding of what is required to make your office successful and I am committed to putting that understanding to work for you. A little too long, also asking too little of money if you are bringing all that experience to the company. Ask for $60,000.

Too detailed but a good letter. I would focus on bottom line results or value of the work you performed. Give a salary range not a specific amount if you want to put any salary in the cover letter. I would not. Give yourself some wiggle room with $60,000 to $80,000 depending on the position and responsibilities.
