Dear Human Resources

This letter is to express my interest in the Insurance position in Nashville, TN. Based on my skills in insurance sales, management, sales trainer, and experienced licensed claims adjuster; I believe I am an excellent candidate for this position. We are permanently relocating to Nashville to be close to family and my desire is to work in a full time capacity in a long term mutually rewarding relationship.
As you can see in my resume, I have been self employed for many years. Due to changes in personal family priorities and goals, I have chosen to enter the employee workforce permanently. During my early insurance career, I was a captive agent with Penn Mutual and was poised to receive my own general agency when the company decided to close all general agencies nationwide. This directed me towards self employment. My experiences during self employment will be a great asset to my future full time employer. As a result of my past success in insurance (sales & claims), real estate, and certified fire and water restoration; I have obtained a unique perspective to evaluate a client’s needs in a manner which shows empathy of understanding the challenges of companies bottom line as it relates to employees and profits. I have chosen to leave the independent adjuster catastrophe business and work consistently for an established insurance company in the areas of my expertise as a full time employee.
I am excited about the position available because it will provide me the opportunity to use all my skills and experience. I enjoy the challenge of being in the middle of high stress situations which requires the tactful use of excellent communication skills which I have been professionally trained. There is nothing more rewarding than heading off trouble and solving concerns of parties to the satisfaction of all and providing long term service of relationships
Bradenton, FL
