Technology Systems Integration

I am an experienced professional with more than twenty years of experience in technology systems integration and program management. I have been responsible for the design and implementation of software and hardware products as well as the design and implementation of call centers, including selection and procurement of hardware and software systems, staffing, training development, business process re-engineering, and management.

After initially working for the Department of Defense, I gained increasingly varied exposure to software systems and hardware platforms in my work with Honeywell, Inc., from 1979 to 1992. I continued my management career as a consultant with Facilities Plus, Inc, where I built and managed a large-scale help desk project for General Electric Information Services, including hiring, training, and management of staff. My ability to identify new business opportunities resulted in a 75% increase in contract value.

At Community Networks, Inc., and was responsible for the management and implementation of state-of-the-art call centers. Along with management of the CNI call center I provided management consulting to the customer base, evaluating customers’ current technology, and designing upgrades and initial installs that employed computer telephony integration applications, automated call distribution equipment, and interactive voice response systems to fully integrate database solutions and telephony technology.

Following my work at Community Networks I was a partner in a small consulting firm Broadband Inc., which specialized in the development of Broadband technology roll out for cable and telephone services. My focus was on the development of technology solutions, marketing programs and call centers for cable and telecommunications companies world-wide, being instrumental in the successful role out of Broadband to consumers in Brazil.

I then moved on to America Online where I performed large-scale product management for a variety of AOL products. I identified and implemented technology solutions and new markets for AOL products. Deploying technology products and services both domestically and internationally on traditional and alternate devices, (i.e., internet appliances, media players, web printers, desktop computers, mobile phones, etc.).

Most recently I have been working as a contractor to Sprint helping them define device diagnostics for their 4G (WiMax) program. I have established a matrixed team, defined requirements and created a request for proposal, statement of work and pricing requirements for vendor selection of a diagnostics system that includes both network and client systems.

My experience encompasses a variety of industries, and demonstrates my ability to apply my skills to any industry. I bring a wealth of expertise in technology and customer relationship management.
