Regional Human Resources Manager

Dear Mike:

My extensive experience, accomplishments, skills, enthusiasm, and passion for Human Resources should dovetail remarkably well with what you would be looking for in an experienced Human Resources candidate. Until recently, I was the Regional Human Resources Manager for Actavis, a Pharmaceutical Manufacturing/R&D/Distribution company in Baltimore.

Prior to joining Actavis, I was the Human Resources Director with Under Armour, a Performance and Sports Apparel Manufacturing, Sales and Distribution Company. When I started in 2001, Under Armour was a privately held growing company, and we had approximately 60 employees, with annual sales of about $25 million. There was no Human Resource function present when I came on board. My immediate goal when joining Under Armour was to develop a highly efficient, effective and responsive Human Resources structure able to support a rapidly growing company. Four years later, I had successfully developed the full spectrum of HR policies, best practice programs and services necessary to support the successful growth of this manufacturing and distribution organization, which had grown to over 600 employees, and $250+ million in sales. When we launched our new 350,000-sq. ft. Distribution facility, I was successful in partnering with the plant management team in developing and facilitating the implementation of HR initiatives in support of the expansion start up operation. Our customer service/call center operation was also expanded during this growth period.

Some of the specific functional areas in which I can offer strong experience, skill sets and accomplishments include full cycle talent recruitment & retention, employee relations, training, change management, policy/procedure development & administration, performance management, safety, legal compliance, labor laws, and compensation & benefits. Additionally, some of my core competencies include excellent communication and team building skills within all organizational levels, pursuing the alignment of human resources with business strategy, both tactical and strategic. Furthermore, I strive to be successful in these endeavers while demonstrating a strong sense of ethics, values and professionalism.

Mike, thank you for taking the time to review my resume. I look forward to hearing from you.
