Operations Support Analyst

To Whom it May Concern

This letter is to express my interest in the positions that may be available. I am confident that my 22 year military career and the time I’ve spent consulting since then have provided me the skill sets for which you’re looking.
I’ve established the ability to work in the delicate international / political work areas. As a NATO Staff Officer I led a multinational section charged with planning and directing logistics responsibilities for NATO’s Southern Region Air Component Exercises. I chaired numerous NATO exercise planning conferences that included up to 19 NATO, and 22 former Warsaw Pact (now Partnership for Peace [PfP]) nations. While efforts focused on integrating former Warsaw Pact nations into NATO operations and potential future membership, this effort enabled seamless operations from a diverse array of forward bases in response to the terrorist attacks of 11 Sep.
I’ve also developed expertise in military operational concepts, technical, program management, and the integration and fielding of complex weapon systems for which you are looking. As a USAF Aircraft Maintenance Officer I led the concurrent flightline fielding of the C-130H(3) [third generation of the C-130 H-model] as the Sortie Generation Officer in Charge at the 50th Airlift Squadron while the weapon system was still in development – constant communication with the PMO, ALC, and Lockheed provided a continuous process improvement methodology to resolving issues quickly and at least cost. I was also the 15th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron Commander who led the beddown, deployment, and operational use of the C-17s for PACAF from Hickam AFB – most significantly developing the business rules and then garnering HQ Pacific Air Forces approval which were necessary to most effectively and efficiently balance operational demands with the unique Active Duty – Hawaii Air National Guard Associate relationship that existed in our Maintenance Group.
