I found your recent posting for a VP of Sales to be very exciting.

My career has been one of successfully directing and leading the sales and support efforts of large sales team that consistently achieved and exceeded our targets. With BRP, we increased our revenue by 107% over target. We did so by collaborative partnering with key clients and focused customer service. I also implemented a new CRM process that put our sales team in constant contact with clients for immediate resolution of any difficulties encountered in deliver.
I have had either national or regional P & L responsibility, including oversight of multiple locations. As General Manager for MarineMax, I initiated several review programs that provided real time notice to managers of variances to budget. The result was a net savings of $110K to forecasted expenditures in first year and a more accurate budget process moving forward without sacrificing necessary capital needs.
In each leadership role, I have developed top performing teams. I accomplished this through several steps. Most critical was evaluating each associate to understand strengths and weaknesses. Once defined, appropriate training was provided to enhance their capabilities or in some cases, they were replaced with “A” players that displayed the strengths needed. I also believe strongly in a hands-on approach to mentoring, working with each team closely to remove barriers to their ability to perform at a high level. I also worked collaboratively with peers and associates to provide the proper resources for all to succeed.
