Controller / CFO

Dear Employer:

What makes your business tick on a daily basis? Many accounting and finance people think they need to watch everything…and they do. But, when there isn’t time to do it all, how do you make sure the critical information is readily available? Only people with my level of experience can zero in on the key metrics that matter most.
Communication skills are critical for a successful “numbers person”. With nearly thirty years in Accounting and Financial management, I’ve worked effectively with investment bankers to secure over $300MM in start-up/expansion funds and with workers on the floor and in the field to improve operational processes and to improve quality and reduce costs.
I’ve worked effectively with my CEO and CFO colleagues. I understand the priorities. You need operational information on a daily basis. Your investors and creditors require visible and enforceable internal financial and cost controls. You want to know your cash position. You need to have reliable forecasts of cash flows and profitability. How are your inventories; your receivables? Are you adequately reserved? What can we do to speed up turns?
