I have extensive Administrative Assistant, Executive Assistant and Event and Meeting Planning experience that required me to utilize my excellent customer service skills on an ongoing basis during my six years of employment with Amgen, Inc. Although I am applying for an Administrative Assistant position with your company I wanted to inform you of my customer services skills as I believe this ability is very valuable in today’s job market.

I was the first contact who sat at the front desk at Porter & Nelson, CPA’s, Nelson & Poindexter, CPA’s as well as Porter & Company, CPA’s. At Nelson & Poindexter, CPA’s, I was hired as their Office Manager however they wanted me to sit at the front desk and be the first person to answer the phones and greet clients because of my customer service skills and personality. At Kinko’s Corporate offices, I learned that each person I come in contact with is my customer and I am to provide them with excellent customer service no matter what their requests are. I have taken this concept and made it part of my own personal and professional mission statement.
